Mini Boots Airport Haul

On my way to and from South Africa I was stuck in London Heathrow airport for a combined 14 hours. So what did I do besides stare at the clock, take an awkward nap in front of hundreds of people, and play on my iPad....shopping of course! I went to Boots to purchase some things that either aren't available or are more expensive in the U.S.

1. Denman Brush - This is actually for my mom, it's the only brush she uses. Happy early bday mom!

2. Sudocrem - The first time I saw my British college roommate have this dotted across her face like vanilla frosting I was thoroughly confused. I quickly converted though and too could be spotted walking around the college dorm hall sporting my white spots. Seriously though, this stuff is the best for pimples, especially those big nasty red ones.  It has a high level of zinc in it which speeds up healing. Plus it's super cheap and lasts forever! Don't let the marketing as a nappy cream fool you; this stuff is the bomb dot com.

3. Hydraluron Moisture Boost - I bought this stuff on a whim after hearing many gurus rave about it. It contains hyadraluronic acid which is an acid naturally produced by your body that can bind up to 1000 times it's weight in water. I thought this stuff would be perfect since my face gets especially dry in the fall and winter.

4. Rimmel Apocalips - These are actually sold in the US but under the name "Show Off" but I couldn't find them in any of the stores near me. They have an interesting consistency that is somewhere between a gloss and a lipstick.

5. Barry M Gelly Nail Paint - I got this in the color "plum". I love the thicker consistency and staying power of this polish.

6. Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick - I heard some great things about these from the British beauty bloggers. I have an addiction to buying glosses/chapsticks so I picked up two. They smell like a vanilla cupcake and are currently accompanying me wherever I go.
